Japan Blockchain Foundation Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Daimei Inaba, hereinafter "the Company"), which operates and manages the consortium of "Japan Open Chain (JOC)," an Ethereum-compatible public blockchain operated by Japanese companies, announces its participation as an organizer panel discussion speaker and workshop host at "FIN/SUM2026 – New Financial Ecosystem Created by AI × Blockchain," jointly hosted by Nikkei Inc. and the Financial Services Agency (FSA), to be held in Marunouchi, Tokyo from March 3 to 6.

Our Speaking and Workshop Schedule

  1. [March 4 (Wed) 15:00-15:50] Organizer Panel Discussion "How Should Finance Be Redesigned for People and Society? – The Next Generation of Financial Infrastructure Transformed by AI, Data, and Blockchain"

Overview: In Japan, where the population is declining and aging, finance is being compelled to transform from an "industry that provides products" to infrastructure that supports people and society. This session will discuss AI-assisted decision-making, advanced data utilization, the evolution of trust infrastructure brought about by blockchain, and institutional design from a cross-cutting perspective. Combining viewpoints from megabanks, FinTech, foundational technology, and policy, we will envision the transition from "finance that sells" to "finance that supports" and the shape of next-generation financial infrastructure.

[JOC Speaker]
Daimei Inaba (Representative Director & President, Japan Blockchain Foundation Co., Ltd. / Japan Open Chain Founder)

  1. [March 5 (Thu) 17:40-18:30] Organizer Panel Discussion "Japan Stablecoin 3.0 – How Regulation Opens the Path to Yen Credibility and Global Expansion"

Overview: In Japan, with amendments to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, crypto assets and stablecoins are evolving from "gray experiments" to "financial infrastructure supported by institutional frameworks." This session examines how regulatory development connects to industrial growth and international competitiveness, centering on yen stablecoins. In the global value exchange market where dollar-based stablecoins are leading, where should Japan compete? We will discuss corporate and regional implementation, FSA institutional design, blockchain-based transparency of credit, and strategies for circulating "yen credibility" globally from both public and private perspectives. Can Japan's crypto asset policy shift from defense to offense? We will clarify this turning point.

[JOC Speaker]
Hidekazu Kondo (Japan Open Chain Founder / G.U.Group Representative Director & President CEO)

  1. [March 6 (Fri) 14:50-15:10] Workshop "First Steps into Web3 – Expanding Business Applications with No-Code NFTs"

This workshop introduces the features of Japan Open Chain and proposes "Long-Tail Finance," which overturns the conventional wisdom that "the top 20% generates 80% of results" and instead maximizes the value of the remaining 80%, using the no-code NFT tool "G.U. Token Studio."
Based on NFT use cases by municipalities and foundations, we will demonstrate the actual flow from wallet integration to NFT receipt experience for building efficient and open-to-all new financial systems using blockchain technology, offering practical content that helps participants take the "first step" from the conceptual stage to implementation consideration.
